What can I say about the mentor program? Well pump is definitely doing it right, the program they manage is extremely helpful. As a student I can say that it’s easy to get pressured, feel anxious or stressed, especially in this new way of living, but having someone to help and listen makes things much better. Pump’s mentor program has helped me feel guided, listened and supported in a way that I wasn't used to. The mentors are trained and specialized for us to receive the help we need and you can honestly see that their desire to help is true.

Shoutout to PUMP and all the instructors for helping me grow as a critical thinker, and for putting me in a better position for Future success. I came in with hopes of becoming stronger academically, but I also gained mentoring and important life skills that will propel me in the future. My pump journey started just before the start of junior year, my GPA was underwhelming and my test taking skills were terrible. However, through the course of the year my GPA took a leap and so did my SAT score. Now I can happily say that with college applications underway, I have a larger array of options to choose from because of PUMP.

When I started prep for the SAT, my first goal of 1500 or above seemed like a reach, and through the help of PUMP, I was actually able to surpass my goal and score 1540. Their fantastic tutors helped me achieve a 740 in Verbal and 800 in Math because they pinpointed exactly what MY needs are and worked on those areas with me, something a lot of other companies do not prioritize. I came into this with extremely low confidence for my MCAT exam and through the patience and expertise of the instructors I am now confident that I will ace my MCAT exam. I thank PUMP to have given me Shariar to work with. I have had a great experience working with Shariar. He is very cooperative and his style of teaching is very effective for me. He is very good at explaining in detail and relating to me which better makes me understand the concepts I am being taught. In my classes, I am benefiting by being more aware of what my teachers are teaching me and getting a better grasp of the subject. I am getting much better grades and pretty happy with my intellectual growth in the subjects I needed help with. I definitely recommend using PUMP as I have had a great experience with them.
